Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nudge progressive web application at app.joinnudge.app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

Nudge is a progressive web application (PWA) for task management, habit tracking, and team collaboration. The Service allows you to create tasks, track habits with streaks, and collaborate with groups of up to 8 people.

Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service

  • One person may not maintain more than one account

    • Free and Paid Plans

    Nudge offers the following plans:
  • Free: Unlimited tasks, 2 habits, push reminders

  • Pro ($4.99/mo): Unlimited tasks and habits, grace periods, join groups

  • Duo ($7.99/mo): Everything in Pro + group of 2, shared tasks and habits

  • Family ($12.99/mo): Everything in Pro + group of 4, shared tasks and habits

  • Team ($19.99/mo): Everything in Pro + group of 8, shared tasks and habits

    • Yearly plans are available at a discount. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

    Subscriptions and Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose

  • Free trial: 7 days of Pro features, no credit card required

  • Payment processing will be handled by our payment provider

  • All prices are in USD

    • Cancellation and Refunds

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings

  • After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period

  • After the billing period ends, your account downgrades to the Free tier

  • Your data is preserved when downgrading — you don't lose tasks or habits

  • Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact hello@joinnudge.app

    • Account Deletion

    You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes all your data (tasks, habits, profile, group memberships). This action cannot be undone. We may retain server logs for up to 30 days after deletion for security purposes.

    Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

  • Use automated tools to scrape or interact with the Service

  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service's security

    • Intellectual Property

    The Service, including its design, code, logo, and brand name "Nudge", is the intellectual property of the Service operator. Your content (tasks, habits, etc.) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely to provide the Service.

    Limitation of Liability

    The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

    Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

    Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
